Heather Grosse
Certified Pilates Instructor
Heather Grosse has studied all types of dance and acrobatics. She has spent several years teaching and coaching advanced dancers for various local competitions. She also is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor who focuses her teaching on correct alignment and placement as well as safety protocols for acrobatic tricks.
Heather received her Pilates Certification through Linda Taylor, who is a second-generation master Pilates instructor. Her training not only included mastering the Pilates repertoire on the mat and all Pilates apparatuses., but also a deep understanding of the Pilates theory of balancing the body. Her training centered on the West Coast Pilates program originating from Ron Fletcher, a Martha Graham Dancer and student of Joseph Pilates. Heather uses this program as designed to produce the long lean body of a dancer.
Heather has worked with all age groups and is passionate about helping each person achieve their physical goals of a healthy balanced body.
Heather graduated at the top of her class from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and enjoys exploring Washington, D.C.’s vibrant music scene.
