CINK™

CINK Physiotherapy

CINK, Corrective Integrated Neuro-Kinetics, is a revolutionary program that uses the principles of physics to transform the body’s neuro-kinetic lines and movement patterns in order to relive chronic pain and injuries, prevent future injuries as well as improve muscle tone and athletic performance.

Functional Hypermobility™

Hypermobile bodies are like the Lamborghinis of the car world. They can perform great feats but tend to blow up without proper handling and maintenance. Let CINK teach you how to work with your body, not confine it.

Pilates at CINK

Pilates taught at CINK Center not only leans heavily on classical West Coast Pilates but also includes basic ballet movements and training so clients can get the full benefit or each exercise. And yes, everyone can learn these movements regardless of background, flexibility, or “gracefulness.”

Client Reviews

“I have had the privilege of witnessing the extraordinary work of CINK and Linda Taylor’s Reformer Pilates both personally and professionally. Most importantly, Linda’s work helped my son Peter avoid what was shaping up to be a very complex surgical intervention for bowleggedness through careful biomechanical rehabilitation, strengthening, and alignment-focused therapy.

Over the years, I have also referred numerous patients with chronic pain, postural dysfunction, mobility limitations, and musculoskeletal issues, and I have repeatedly seen dramatic improvements in function, pain reduction, balance, and overall quality of life.

Linda brings a rare combination of technical expertise, deep intuition, and truly individualized care that is increasingly difficult to find in modern healthcare.

“I came to Linda after a discectomy to address drop foot caused by herniated L3 and L4 discs.

Traditional physical therapy couldn't help — the root cause was nerve damage, and PT had no answer for that. Linda Taylor using the CINK METHOD did.

Over twelve months, using the Reformer and Cadillac, Linda built strength in the muscles around the damage my nerve could no longer properly control.

The outcome: My mobility improved. My strength improved. CINK found a path forward when conventional rehab hit a wall.”

“I am now a 22 year old male who had been suffering from severe autonomic dysfunction for about 5 years when I began a CINK treatment program.

Prior to that, I had suffered from joint pain and occasional sprains, strains, and pulls throughout my body growing up as a hypermobile athlete.

As I was finally feeling well enough to exercise for the first time in years, I began to have the same pains that had troubled me growing up, as well as some new problems. While joint hypermobility is probably not the main driver of my health concerns, it is still something I have, and the picture painted by most on how it affects your ability to move and live long term is not an optimistic one. I felt resigned to a life of pain and subluxations should I try to exercise.

When I discovered CINK and read about it, the theory behind it made so much sense, and really gripped me in a way no other modality had. Working with Linda, I was able to regain the ability to move freely and easily, feeling less pain day to day than I had in years. I learned that while my hypermobility will never go away, I simply needed to be taught how to move correctly and I would be able to return to exercising as much as I once did, and with less injuries than before.

Surprisingly, it also helped with many of my autonomic problems. My digestion has improved greatly, symptoms of POTS have decreased, and in general, I feel calmer. I was not expecting this at all when I chose to participate in a CINK program, but it did result in a tremendous help. I really think people suffering from various ailments that impact their autonomic function could benefit greatly from this type of training.

While CINK is never going to fully cure me of everything, it has provided a tremendous amount of relief. The knowledge that Linda and Havilah possess on how a body works is amazing. Their method has given me so much. As things continue to improve, I find myself able to do more and more of a normal and independent life.”

“CINK has been a huge asset in my physical therapy treatment intervention with my patients. I treat mostly patients with EDS and have noticed how CINK allows my patients to take more control and have more awareness of how to use their body in proper alignment.

My patients have noticed better stability through CINK techniques and can begin stabilization and strengthening around their joints in a manner that doesn’t increase their fear or risk of injury like some traditional therapy interventions have created in their past experiences.”
